Becoming a mum for the first time can be the most daunting, overwhelming, exciting, exhausting experience  in a persons life. As most new mums know, the Mildura Rural City Council place you in a group of 6-10 other new mums, which becomes your all important Mothers Group. Mothers Groups begin with structured sessions on a weekly basis for the first 6 to 8 weeks which provides education and information to help you settle into motherhood, as well as providing a social network of other mums.
 
But then what?! Everyone is still keen to catch up, get out of the house and talk to other adults! No one wants to volunteer to have everyone at their house, because lets face it, who has the energy for that!

These areas are designed to allow you and your bub to socialise with your new friends, without the mess and fuss of entertaining in your home!
